Here is some basic information to get you started.
Note: You must bring a government-issued photo ID and it must be valid. No exceptions.
Group Booking or Walk-in?
If you plan to bring a group of 8 or more people along for the visit we suggest making a group reservation. Information on group bookings can be found on our main tab PRICES > Groups & Events
If you plan to come with less than 8 people, you can come without any previous reservation. Please note that weekends are usually our busiest days so there may be a wait time.
**We require a minimum of two people to visit the range. No single shooters unless you are law enforcement, military, a current member of DVC, or hold a valid Canadian Firearms License.
Signing in
Regardless of whether you are a first-timer or not, you will need to sign in. We will ask all customers (including minors) for a valid govt. issued ID and we will have you sign a standard waiver.
The Daily admission for general public is $35.00. You will be paying for the ammunition you use on top of this.
Visitors under the age of 19 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. A legal document proving Legal Guardianship is required.
You can fill out the online waiver here to save time.
Choose your guns and targets
After signing in, you will choose the guns you wish to shoot as well as the targets you wish to shoot at.
Don’t worry if you don’t know what you should choose. Our staff will be happy to help you select some firearms that are appropriate for your level of comfort and experience.
Safety Briefing
Once you are ready to head into the shooting range itself you will be assigned an instructor. They will walk you through the basic safety rules of the range as well as demonstrate the appropriate, safe use of the firearms you will be using.
Please ensure you pay attention to all instructions and commands from your instructor. We have a zero tolerance policy for those who act in a purposefully unsafe manner.
Fire Away!
Once you have demonstrated that you understand the instructions given to you by the instructor you will begin shooting. The instructor will guide you throughout the process, remain nearby to answer any questions or concerns you may have, offer tips and advice and make sure everyone is following the safety rules.
If you want to try out a few different firearms, your instructor will be happy to bring them to you.
We encourage the buddy system for all first timers, and all newcomers to the sport.
For the best experience we always recommend coming in a group setting and do require a minimum of two people per group.
NO SINGLE SHOOTER with the exception of Law Enforcement, Military, members of DVC with valid PAL/RPAL. No exceptions.
PAL HOLDERS are welcome to drop in during public hours from Tuesday to Friday. Unfortunately at this time we are not accepting PAL Holders on weekends.
