Handgun 101 Course

Get a grip on the basic shooting fundamentals and develop the skills to safely operate a handgun.

This class is for students with little or no experience handling or shooting a firearm.

In this class you will learn:

• Basic/Proper Grip
• Stance: How to properly place your shoulders, hips, feet
• Sights: sight picture, sight alignment, open or iron sights
• Addressing the Target
• Trigger Pull
• How to deal with malfunctions/clearing malfunctions
• Range officer instruction/range commands
• Loading & Unloading
• Safety brief

 

The cost is $150 and the classes are 3 hours long.

**Must have a valid PAL licence.

Ammunition Requirements: 150 rounds or you can purchase ammunition from us. If you are bringing your own ammunition please ensure that it meets our range ammunition requirements.

Please bring your own set of eyes and ears or we can supply them for those who don’t.

*If you do not have your own firearm you may rent one at no extra charge but ammunition for the rental firearm would need to be purchased from us.
